Statewide COVID Response
In March 2020, Jill partnered with the executive team of the Oregon Department of Education to launch a statewide COVID response. She helped mobilize resources quickly, synthesized a continuous influx of content and system changes, and developed a response strategy for K-12 districts during school closures. Her role expanded to include statewide community outreach, drafting district guidance, and coordinating agency-wide project management. Within four months, ODE had developed internal capacity, and her role shifted to coaching and providing targeted support for emerging issues.
Aligning the Preschool to 3rd Grade Continuum
As a consultant, Jill played a key role in launching and building capacity to actualize Portland Public School's Superintendent’s vision for an aligned learning experience from early childhood to 3rd grade. Collaborating with district leadership and community-wide early learning partners, she conducted a needs assessment, developed an implementation blueprint anchored in research-based practices and local context, and began socializing the new and refined approaches with teachers and principals. Upon approval from the Superintendent’s Leadership Team, she partnered with the Office of Teaching and Learning to build capacity and propel the initiative forward. Initial priorities included improved support and strategies for the preK to K transition, literacy instruction, and blending and braiding funds.

As Director of Account Management at Amplify (formerly Wireless Generation), Jill led the customer success team through rapid growth, achieving exceptional renewal rates and fostering strategic partnerships with education leaders nationwide. By streamlining technical implementation and support operations and coaching teams to enhance responsive customer service and complex problem resolution, she improved renewal rates, customer engagement, and satisfaction while also improving operational efficiencies.
